Amenities

Welcome to some of the tangible benefits of being a part of the Silver Lake Homes Association.  The yearly dues go providing services and amenities that not only keep our subdivision looking great, but also giving our residents value added things that you don't get just being in a regular neighborhood.   In being a part of our community you are a part of the Silver Lake Homes Association family, so take a look around and see what we have to offer.

Lake

You certainly can't mss this one - the calling card for our neighborhood is the 55 acre lake created back in the 1960's by one man with a vision.   Originally a part of the local water infrastructure this lake now houses many varieties of fish, reptiles, and other aquatic life.  During the migration months many different types of water fowl come in for a little layover on their way to warmer climates.  You can enjoy boating, fishing, or just basking in the quiet reflective waters along the shoreline access points at the club house and along the dam.

Club House

Built in 1976, the clubhouse has an open floor plan with fully equipped kitchen, large deck and basement walkout to the pool built.  The main floor includes street level entry, large deck, fully equipped kitchen, bar, WIFI, TV, fireplace, off street parking and a myriad of other comforts.  The bottom floor includes street level entry, WIFI, and off street parking and access to our pool facility.  The pool includes a covered patio, swimming & wading pools.

Tennis Courts

A pair of tennis courts designed to offer competitive play are well lit and secure. Access requires use of a key fob that may obtained from the Silver Lake Office during normal operating hours.

Playground

This playground is equipped with a safety surface that is renewed annually and varied play equipment designed to engage young users..

Boat Ramp & Dock

Silver Lake is available for recreational use with watercraft and boats limited to non-powered or trolling motors. As a private lake, we ask that boats be identified with a Silver Lake Homes Association boat sticker for the current year. These are freely available at the clubhouse.  To launch your craft you can use the concrete ramp to the right of the boat dock.  Keyed access through the gate is available for a small refundable key deposit at the clubhouse.

Little Free Library

This tiny book library is one of half a million locations registered around the world. The board encourages member to give and take a book in the promotion of literacy.
